RVM Mega Charizard X

    Arrival of Mega Charizard! So I was choreographing two separate fights, one for Mega X and one for Mega Y. I feel Mega Y doesn't get much screen time, so I will be doing the Mega Y version of the fight as well. I don't want to break up the release order though by alternating between them, so I will do the mega X one first, conclude chapter 1, then the story will be going on a short hiatus at that point (Give me time to story board the next few pages and such). During that period, I will release the Mega Y version of the fight. So if you like to see Mega Y instead (or just see Mega Y in general), you will. I decided to do Mega X first because I feel the Mega X fight is a better one, but we'll see what people say when that comes (When the two fights have been finished, Red's Trump Card will include to continue into Mega X or Mega Y. I might change my mind, but that's the plan for now. Hope you enjoy and more coming.

Red's Journal: Mega Charizard
    Mr. Fuji gave me the mega stone back when I first visited Lavender Town. I forced Team Rocket out and also helped calm Marowak's ghost by reuniting her with her son. These actions impressed the friendly old man, and he gave me the mega stone and key stone. I didn't know what they were or how to use them at the time. Later that year, Mewtwo destroyed the Pokemon Mansion, killed his creators and went on a rampage over Kanto. It lasted about a week, ending with Mewtwo completely vanishing. I'll discuss more about that someplace else, but I remember reading about it and when I got a chance, I watched it on the news. Mewtwo was... something else. I had never seen anything like it. Some people said he was gonna destroy the world, and at the time it seemed like he just might. Thankfully he didn't but after he vanished nobody knew what happened to Mewtwo. Some say he was captured by the Elite Four, some say he succumbed to his injuries and died, some say he went into hiding to recover from said injuries, nobody really knew. All we knew was that the rampage was over.
    That was until two years latter when Blue found him in Cerulean Cave. When I returned from Johto and found out what happened, I announced that the Champion would take Mewtwo on. So I prepared for that battle. I crafted my team best to defeat Alakazam, the closest thing to Mewtwo I could think of. I couldn't help but think though, I needed something extra, a trump card so to speak. Especially since I didn't know if Mewtwo had gotten more powerful or not since the rampage or not. So I went back to Mr. Fuji to ask him about the stone he had given me, if it could help. He told me that it could, it was from a region called Kalos and the Pokemon there could use them to become far more powerful. I had never heard of this, or Kalos for that matter, but I thought it could give me the edge I needed. I trained with Charizard and Mr. Fuji for some time, we were able to trigger the transformation fairly easily, but it was a new experience for both me and Charizard. Charizard and I had spent so long together, that our bond was perfect, but when he transformed with the stone, he was like a new Pokemon. I had to re-establish that bond with what we called mega Charizard. Eventually though, we mastered that as well. Mega Charizard was a Dragon type now too, so it wasn't weak to any of the offensive types Alakazam ran normally, and it was a monstrous physical attacker. So it had no problem overwhelming the psychic type and putting it in it's place. I was confident I had what I needed to challenge Mewtwo now.
